India’s most exquisite fine jewellery brand, Mèroh was born from the founder’s years of building everyday pieces while working on her husband’s family jewellery brand Ghatiwala. While selling statement pieces, Vinnie would pick out the most interesting gemstones and designs in gold to build a collection of pieces that felt fiercely her own - a reflection of her personality, her view of the world, and simple enough to wear whether at work or at home. Every couple of days people would look at these exquisitely designed pieces wrapped in simplicity and ask, "Can I have something like this? Can you make this for me, please?", that was the birth of Mèroh.
Mèroh represents a philosophy: that every woman deserves to feel extraordinary in her everyday moments, whether she's heading to the office, meeting friends for brunch, or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home. The name itself tells the story. In a Rajasthani dialect, "Mèroh" means "mine". This is the emotional core of Mèroh: ownership that transcends material. A feeling of owning this time in space, this moment and claiming it for yourself; It's about a woman looking in the mirror and feeling that surge of confidence.
The Craft of Everyday Luxury: Semi-Precious Stones as Everyday Companions
Mèroh's genius lies in its use of semi-precious stones, not as consolation prizes to precious gems, but as deliberately chosen partners in daily life. Green amethyst, purple amethyst, blue topaz, malachite, turquoise, and lapis lazuli create a palette that speaks to the colors women actually wear. These aren't your grandmother's traditional cuts. Each stone is cut to take the shape of the metal that caresses it, creating unique silhouettes that exist nowhere else in the market. The craftsmanship is intentionally unconventional, letting the material guide the form rather than forcing stones into predetermined settings.
Every collection in Mèroh paints this picture. In Hive, the designers borrow from nature's most efficient architects, flirting with the honeycomb's organic geometry. Emeralds are set to evoke the feeling of a beehive, not literal representation, but emotional resonance. Tiara, is a meditation on memory and legacy, exploring how mementos pass through generations, being claimed by individuals as time dances around us. Each collection carries its own narrative, its own emotional signature, designed by a collaborative team with generations of expertise working from concept through to the selection of every colored stone.
What is most exciting about Mèroh is its rejection of demographic design lines. Whether you're 22 and starting your first job or 70 and treating yourself to something beautiful, Mèroh speaks to that universal desire to feel extraordinary. This intuitive approach to adornment is what Mèroh celebrates. These pieces layer beautifully, allowing women to create their own combinations based on feeling rather than rigid styling rules.
This is jewellery for the woman who wants to feel special on a Tuesday morning, who believes that putting on beautiful pieces can transform an ordinary day into something worth celebrating. It's for the woman who understands that luxury isn't about price points, it's about how something makes you feel when you wear it.
Says Vinnie Ghatiwala, the Founder, “For us, Mèroh occupies that sweet spot between everyday and special occasions. We’re creating pieces for the modern woman to wear everyday that are comfortable but have a pop of that something special to make it her own. Something that, when you catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror, makes you think: This is mine, and I am beautiful.”
