Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor and other stars bring back the faux leather trend. On Fashion Friday

FT NEWS

Winter is slowly creeping in with a tinge of crispness in the cold winds and everyone is gearing up for the season of warm coats and sweaters. Faux leather pants and jackets, in fact, are making a comeback and several celebs were spotted wearing some really chic ensembles as such off late. And guess what? Word is out on the street that this trend is here to stay.

If you want to revamp your wardrobe with such ensembles, we are here to help. They were a rage in the 90s but are trending again. For Fashion Friday last week, we list the five best faux leather ensembles that celebs, including Kriti Sanon and Shraddha Kapoor, rocked lately.

KRITI SANON

Kriti Sanon chose to go for an all-black outfit for her appearance at the airport off late. She left the fashion police stunned with her biker girl look in an all-leather ensemble. Kriti wore faux leather leggings with knee-length leather boots. She opted for a faux leather puffer jacket with a belt and carried a black Chanel handbag with golden straps. She completed her look with a matching black mask and golden hoop earrings.

VAANI KAPOOR

Why go for just black when you can experiment with colours? Vaani Kapoor totally understood the assignment as she stepped out for her upcoming film “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui” in maroon faux leather pants and a chic one-shoulder black top. Vaani paired the outfit with black strappy heels and left her tresses loose. She was snapped along with co-star Ayushmann Khurrana and director Abhishek Kapoor.

SHRADDHA KAPOOR

Shraddha Kapoor also ditched black and went with a pair of green vegan leather pants. The Street Dancer 3D star nailed her airport look with a white top from Zara, a long organza jacket and a pair of chic sunglasses. Shraddha accessorised her look with a shiny silver chain necklace and a white tote bag. Smart!

ALAYA F

Alaya F has been on the constant radar of the fashion police since her debut film Jawaani Jaaneman and she has not disappointed ever since. Alaya keeps a close knowledge of all fashion trends and she proved it once again when she stepped out for Kartik Aaryan’s birthday bash in baggy faux leather pants. She paired the pants with a one-shoulder full-sleeve top and wore her hair in a sleek ponytail. She opted for a pair of black and beige wedge heels and golden hoop earrings as her accessories.

TARA SUTARIA

Tara Sutaria joined the faux leather trend with brown pants paired with a bralette for the promotion of her upcoming film Tadap. Styled by Meagan Concession, Tara wore some delicate finger rings and carried a matching dainty little handbag to complete her look. Also, she teamed up the attire with gorgeous heels by Christian Louboutin.
